This thangka is designed as a round tsa-tsa box. Its filigree threads, as tough and resilient as bamboo strips, twist and interweave to form layered, three-dimensional textures. This not only showcases the exquisite craftsmanship but also resembles the "veins of Dharma," weaving into a protective network.
The mandala pattern on the back of the thangka features a symmetrical, radiating design. In Tibetan Buddhism, the mandala is regarded as a "microcosm of the universe," symbolizing the perfection and harmony of the Dharma.
